Hello world!

Hi Everyone! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

I would like to welcome you all to my new venture – Olive & Blossom Photography. Some of you may already know me previously as Jayne Taylor Photography. After a necessary break taking care of the family, I am now happy to announce that I will be making a new start in 2016! Olive & Blossom Photography will focus on natural light newborn, baby and family portraiture, encompassing a simple organic style. In keeping with this theme, all child and family sessions will be carried out outdoors, at a number of beautiful location settings.

The beginning of 2016 will mark the start of an intense period of training and professional development, taking place with a number of top award winning photographers around the UK.

The Newborn Photography School is a six month programme run in conjunction with The Guild of Photographers and mentored by Claire Elliott of Forever Memories Photography (an award winning newborn photographer and panel member of The Guild). Throughout the duration of this course I will be progressing towards achieving qualified status with The Guild of Photographers.

I will also be developing my outdoor child and family photography skills through training with Nina Mace Photography – The Guilds Children, Family & Lifestyle Photographer of the Year (2014). In addition to this I am undertaking a year long online study series (starting tomorrow!) with one of my ultimate photography idols – the incredibly talented New Jersey fine art photographer – Meg Bitton Photography.

I hope this investment in developing myself will help me to grow and excel further as an artist, whilst also benefiting my future clients too.

I have a very hectic schedule ahead, travelling around the UK for these, plus many other shows and training events, as well as completing my work for assessment, so my availability is currently extremely limited – especially throughout the first half of the year. My website will be updated to include availability and booking information in due course. In the meantime, I will sometimes require models (maternity, newborns, babies and families) to assist with completing my work for assessment. If this is something you are interested in please lookout on the Blog, my Facebook page, or subscribe for news mailings to keep up to date with my projects in progress.

I am incredibly excited for all the things this New Year has in store and hope you will follow me as I embark upon this incredible new journey.

Thanks for reading!
